Q1 2019
www.wealthandfinance-news.com 10 Wealth & Finance International - Q1 2019 Despite recent market volatility, the investment and wealth management sectors remain laser- focused on achieving results. Indeed, whilst the greater business landscape remains fixated on constant development and evolution – whether that be on a personal or corporate level – the only thing that matters for wealth manager is performance. Regardless of the rise in popularity of ‘algotech’ and AI-based trading, results are the only differentiator and remain the key draw for potential investors. To put it more simply, being at the ‘cutting edge’ is meaningless if return on investment is minimal or non-existent. It’s an ethos that has led the sector as a whole to adopt strategies that are entirely client-centric, focusing primarily on achieving results and securing a strong financial future for their clientele. One of the core distinguishing factors of the London International Corporation is the degree with which they have internalised this focus, as Daniel explains further. “We are an independent financial advisory company that puts great emphasis on achieving the investment returns our clients demand. Our bespoke portfolios are tailored to each client’s specific needs. We expect to outperform, while controlling risk through our market leading research systems, and robust procedures.” “It’s about building a plan based on the clients’ needs and aspirations then finding the right package of investments, protection and pensions to build prosperity and enhance financial security.” Yet, as Daniel moves on to discuss, the industry is in a state of constant improvement as this generation’s experts look to repair the errors of the past. Again, the focus remains on the client – providing them with a service that, ultimately, generates a return on investment. “The financial advisory industry in the UK suffers from the remnants of a previous generation of salesman claiming to be advisors. These people focus on befriending their clients while relieving them of their hard-earned money. They charge high fees without providing a service. They charge high fees without providing any service. If the client has no more money to invest, they will never see that conman/ salesman again, their portfolio will be ignored. This behaviour reflects badly for the rest of us.” For the time being at least, London International Corporation is set on establishing a precedence for excellence, building on their formidable reputation in the UK’s notoriously competitive wealth management sphere. By all considerations, this approach seems to be working, as 2019 heralds a year of growth for the firm, and an expansion into new markets. “2019 will be a year of targeted growth for us. We will be active in the M&A market, increasing our product offering, maintain our asset management performance and expand our business. We will also complete our target the provide power and clean water to a school in Ghana through our charity LIC Ethical.” Finally, Daniel comments on London International’s recent award win and the effect it has in reinforcing the firm’s results-oriented approach to investment. “I am delighted to have received another award. This is the culmination of all the good work and effort we put into managing our client’s portfolios. Ultimately, our awards and recognition reinforced the trust in our ability to maintain our performance in tough markets.” London International Corporation is an independent financial advisory and wealth management company. Late last year, Wealth & Finance International Magazine recognised London International as the ‘Best Regional Wealth Management Firm’ in the United Kingdom in the annual Winner’s Review programme – a celebration of the year’s top financial talent.
