The last year has magnified the importance of capitalising on opportunities whenever they arise. While the predominant theme of the last year has been change, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic proved to be tumultuous and ever-shifting. Though significant challenges have been prevalent, it would be remiss to gloss over the unexpected opportunities that have arisen for many businesses in numerous markets. The core benefit of the wealth and finance industries is that, for the most part, the move to the digital ‘storefront’ and operations as already been underway before circumstance made it a necessity. From digital banking for client convenience to online investment management – services could continue on, even when physical establishments had to close their doors.
