We have offices in Aberdeen, Ellon and Caithness. We specialise in pension, investment and mort- gage advice. When I set up the firm it was my vision was to be the number one financial advisory firm in the North and North-East of Scotland. I want to make affordable financial advice accessible to more people and hope to open another office next year. Integrity is our guiding principle and as such we always stand behind what we say we will do for our clients, our stakeholders and our people. The region in which our central office is based, Aberdeen, has faced a number of challenges recently which we have had to overcome. The main issue is that Aberdeen has been hit with the downturn in the oil price leading to uncertainty in a number of sectors. However, despite this issue our business has continued to thrive and our turnover is now heading towards £500,000 per annum. The reason for this is that we stand out from our competitors due to our flexible approach to meeting clients. Our advisers can carry out home visits with clients and work may evenings and weekends to meet people at times which are convenient to the client. Looking to the future, auto enrolment and the pension freedoms will continue to provide massive opportunities for us in 2016. Our biggest challenge is finding the right premises to allow us to expand in 2016 along with the challenge of recruiting the right staff. In addition there will be a number of exciting new opportunities for the firm as we look to continue to grow as a business. We recently received a Best of the Best Business Award for Outstanding Customer Service and it was nice to be recognised for all our efforts over the year.
