(“ZOAM”) and became its overseas subsidiary. With a focus on bespoke investment solutions for clients seeking sustainable and stable returns, both entities are well-respected members of its industry. The parent company, ZOAM, is highly recognized by being the first asset manager implementing Employee Stock Ownership Plans in China back in year 2014, an inspiring setup to bind interests between clients and the team. In 2023, the stakes owned by core employees rose to 56.7%. In 2019, the acquisition of ZOAM Intl. and the setup of overseas investment capabilities once demonstrated its ambition to become a vital link between domestic market and global markets, not only to introduce overseas investors its eminent investment capabilities in the Greater China region, but to globalize its investment pool for domestic investors. Under the stewardship of CEO, Yiwei HE, the Company has walked through the toughest period during COVID. He is uniquely suited to the position with 22 years of industry experience and having held various prestigious positions such as the Head of Business Development of Greater China at BNP Paribas Asset Management Asia Ltd., and the Deputy General Manager of Institutional Department at SYWG BNP Paribas Asset Management, in charge of introducing cross-border products (including CNY solutions) to institutional and distribution clients in APAC region. The Company’s journey has brought it from promising beginnings to a prominent asset management firm in the Greater China. Having evolved from Selene Limited and later to China Wise Asset Management, it now operates under ZOAM Intl., licensed with the SFC for Type 1, 4 and 9 regulated activities, equipped to deal in and advise on securities and manage assets respectively. With Luxembourg and Hong Kong-domiciled funds, its access to international markets offers clients the opportunity to find a strategy which suits them. “In 2023, the Company successfully launched its first retail fund in Hong Kong. Along with the Company’s development, the team has accumulated rich experience in operating public funds, private funds, and managed accounts across different jurisdictions. ” The Company’s investment teams focus on two key services, equity strategies and fixed-income strategies. The former seeks to identify quality Chinese companies which demonstrate growth potential to maintain steady growth.
