W&F Issue 9 2018
www.wealthandfinance-news.com 24 Wealth & Finance International - Issue 9 - 2018 On the global business landscape, few sectors move as swiftly as Fintech. In the wake of the staunch traditionalism embodied by brick and mortar financial giants, the sector has seen a rise in disruptors, as they look to reenergise and reimagine an industry that has grown, in recent years, stagnant and tired. It’s now clear that technology, and consumer needs in turn, have evolved. By all regards, Deus Technology are the harbingers of a new age in business services, utilising best in class solutions to allow their clients to grow with total security. To start the interview, Pasquale goes into more detail about Deus’ role as an enabler to their clients: “We help our clients during the investment process through utilisation of a quantitative heuristic model designed to provide customisation. On the market, Deus offers technologies and skills for supporting the necessary evolution of advisory services towards RoboAdvisory or RoboAssistants: digitisation, multi-channel distribution, automation, and customisation are the true key success factors.” To help them achieve this objective, Deus has developed three main internal branches comprised of; CRM RoboAdvisory, Advanced Advisory and Compliance & Risk MiFID. The crux of Deus’ services ride on the former, as it looks to capitalise on the rise of automation. Their core product, T RoboAdvisory, is a computational platform that allows banks to automate the consultancy process. Further, customer portfolios are analysed, monitored and reallocated by the Deus engine in compliance with suitability constraints, according to the bank’s views, as well as the customer’s risk profile and wishes. Advanced Advisory is a platform that supports the construction of new or existing front-ends through APIs and widgets, to suit the specifications of the MiFID 2 legislative framework. Again, the platform was designed for full customisability and allows for a seamless integration into any existing architecture. Equally, Deus’ Compliance and Risk MiFID platform manages the outsourcing of asset management-related legal documentation. This includes account aggregation within the MiFID 2 multivariate suitability process. More than all of this, Deus aimed – from the very beginning – to be innovators in the digital wealth management sector. In this, they have succeeded, and forged a unique reputation within the wealth and finance spheres. Their roboadvisory products just one way that the company have secured their position as leaders in the market. Indeed, Deus believe that the path to enduring success lies at the heart of innovation: in the pursuit of Deus Technology S.R.L. are, in their own words, a “Fintech Enabler”. In August, Deus was named in Wealth & Finance International’s 2018 Fintech Awards as the ‘Best Multi-Channel Banking Fintech Company in Italy’ with additional recognition for T roboadvisory, which received the title of ‘Best Automated Banking Consulting Solution’.
