Connect Your Wallet to Log in to Magic Eden
Before you can start, you need to connect your compatible wallet to Magic Eden. Magic Eden is a community-driven NFT ecosystem that offers great tools for creators to launch their NFT collections.
You can log onto Magic Eden by clicking “Log In” in the top right corner of the screen. Then, you can choose your wallet from the list and connect it to the marketplace.
There are plenty of wallets to choose from. If you don’t have one yet, download one, set it up, and fund it with crypto.
Access the Creator Hub
Go to magiceden.io, hover over ‘Create’ in the top menu, and select ‘Creator Dashboard’ from the dropdown list.
Click ‘Sign up / Sign Up’ in the new window and enter your email address.
Then, click ‘Continue.’
Confirm the verification code sent to your email.
Once that’s done, you’ll be registered.
Next, click ‘Create New Collection.’
The cost of minting depends on the blockchain you choose. Magic Eden supports several networks, including Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain, Polygon, and others.
Upload Your Assets And Metadata
Once your artwork is ready, upload the image files to decentralized storage (like IPFS), generate metadata files, and host them online. You’ll then paste the metadata URL into Magic Eden’s Mint Terminal.
Once your assets and metadata are uploaded, follow these steps:
Go to the Create section in the Terminal and click on NFT Collection.
In the new tab, select Create New Collection.
Paste the metadata URL in the designated field.
Fill in the remaining collection details, then click ‘Publish to [your chosen blockchain]’ to launch your drop through the Mint Terminal.

Apply for Listing
After entering all the details, return to the Creator Hub on Magic Eden, where you’ve already signed up.
You’ll see there are just four simple steps left to finalize your listing.
Enter the name of your collection and the symbol that will be displayed as its identifier on the marketplace.
Click ‘Save & Proceed.’
Next, provide information about your collection, such as a description, upload a profile image, and choose the categories that will appear on your marketplace page.
Add your X account. You can also include links to your other social profiles or website.
Populate the Collection
Provide the required information needed to display your NFT collection on Magic Eden.
Choose Your Standard
You can choose from three different standards:
- NFT Legacy: List using an MCC address, FVCA address, or a hash list.
- Metaplex Core: Using only an MCC address.
- Compressed NFTs (cNFT): Requires the MCC address and the list of Merkle Tree addresses for listing.
Provide the Merkle Tree addresses if you selected cNFTs.
Review the information you’ve entered.
You have the option to leave a message for the Magic Eden Listing Operations team in the “Anything else we should know?” section.
Then click ‘Submit’ to complete the process.
If you receive an acceptance email, it means your collection has been reviewed but hasn’t yet passed final approval. A decision will be sent within two days via email.
It’s best not to make any public announcements until you receive the final confirmation from the Magic Eden team.
